Sarah's First Gunging
Phew! Well, we’ve just about cleared up after what was undoubtedly our biggest ever private session. Over 150 pies, 36 litres of custard and nine full buckets of thick cake mix (all pastel colours – no red or brown we were told) were thrown at and over three girls – one of them completely new to messy modelling! Yes, it was quite a baptism, but as you can see, we didn’t let her off lightly!

“Good evening, sir, madam, and welcome to the Free House. Please take a seat and prepare yourself for massive helpings of pies, custard, beans, treacle and every other conceivable mess washed down with gallons of water. We have a strict dress code – all our models must be smartly attired or seriously slutty to start even though they will end up a total mucked up wreck and probably naked.
“Now if you are sitting comfortably, perhaps you’d like to see the menu…”

Hi all.
I’ve been having some fun at home again taking more messy pictures of myself this time dressed is a saucy french maid. Some of the pictures can be found in The Free House (www.splosh.co.uk/channel_free/the_free_house/index.htm) with our usual funny captions or you can download the lot along with my gunge set (a total of 175 photos full size and full resolution) at www.sploshdownloads.com for the smallest fee the credit card billers will accept ($5). All proceeds go to costumes and gunge for the next set, so the more people buy it (if anyone) the messier I’ll be!
In the meantime, I thought you might like to hear the fun I had taking the pics…

Four of the best sketches from our DVD Hot Coffee & Sticky Buns are now available to download without membership at www.hits.sploshdownloads.com. It continues our mighty mission to bring you highlights of the last 20 years of Splosh! 1) Warrington is a pleasant, unassuming town. Yes, it looks a bit forbidding when you arrive in the station – that’s the Unilever factory incidentally, but don’t go thinking it is a grim industrial place. Far from it. As the advertisement on the station proudly boasts Warrington is “the gateway to the historic gardens of Cheshire”. I like their modesty. What they are saying is basically, “Warrington – It’s quite near somewhere nicer!”

And your final question, team..whose messy tits are these?
Well, there’s not much chance of you getting that one right unless you go to my local pub quiz night every other Sunday. And even then you might be surprised…

As I mentioned earlier in the bit you probably won’t read, Sammy-Jane came down on Thursday for a private session. Yes, we still offer private sessions when we can fit them around our own shoots, and this particular customer has been coming for years so it’s always a good laugh.

Not surprisingly since it is their annual music ‘festival’, I spent much of the August Bank Holiday in the pub. A break from all things custardy you might imagine but you’d be wrong! As well as pub-going Splosh! fans like Jenny from Facebook keen to tell me about the messy chats she’d been having, two pretty faces popped up unexpectedly wanting to get messy – in one case for the first time and in the other for the umpteenth!

Searching for some Alice Cooper music and video to wake me up one morning, I found this…
httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJ1rHdIL0qw
Now I’ve always been an Alice fan since Schools Out coincided with the end of my O levels, and was well aware that Soupy Sales was an American comic famous for throwing custard pies but I had no idea the two had come together (in 1979 apparently). There’s a longer version of the sketch on Youtube as well.
We noticed that Alice seemed to enjoy Splosh! when they both appeared on The Graham Norton Show last year, but didn’t know he’d been an active participant! And with one of the slapstick legends!! Now I’m an even greater fan than ever!
